Intellectual Life
Intellectual creativity that had been so fervent before the invasion continued its creative and dynamic course in diaspora. Poets like Klairi Aggelidou, Kyriakos Charalambides, Polyvios Nikolaou, professors such as Kyriakos Hadjioannou, Panayiotis Sergis and painters like Skoteinos and Sergiou have all left remarkable compositions that have however, been scarred by the pain and trauma of the uprooting events of 1974.
